Membership is intentionally limited to preserve the intimacy, authenticity, and personal connection that define the experience. Limited so we can do what we do best: make great whiskey in small, meticulously blended batches with art at our core.

Beyond the Tasting Room

The CloakRoom is a private destination in the heart of Louisville Kentucky, where members can experience exclusive Mahogany Fox whiskey releases, enjoy intimate tastings, attend curated events, and become part of a community built around craftsmanship and creativity. We are located at 611 W Main Street, in the beautiful Museum District.

Here, every detail is intentional from the spirits we create to the artwork and design that surrounds you.

We are offering our favorite spirits: Bourbon, Rye and American Whiskey. We have curated a beautiful collection of spirits in barrel. We have plans to release 2-3 offerings per month through the Club, plus special seasonal and celebratory bottles throughout the year. 

Most importantly, the spirits we craft are exclusively released through the Velvet CloakRoom. Mahogany Fox Spirits are not distributed through traditional retail channels. Every expression is released directly to members, ensuring each bottle finds its way into the hands of those who have chosen to be part of our community. 

The Founders' Key. 

The Founders' Key is the premier membership of The Velvet CloakRoom, limited to just 98 members. 

Your Founders' Key membership includes your own private Whiskey Vault for building and keeping your Mahogany Fox collection, priority access to our most limited releases, and invitations to exclusive experiences throughout the year. With only 98 Private Vaults, there will only ever be 98 Founders' Key memberships.

Every Mahogany Fox release is created as an artistic expression. It is crafted with intention, produced in limited quantities, and never replicated exactly the same way again. Our goal is to create to inspire, and share that with you, through The Velvet Reserve.

This level of membership is designed for those who appreciate the journey of collecting these expressions. Members receive access to collection releases, private tastings in the CloakRoom and invitations to exclusive events throughout the year.
